Crisp Flatbread Goodness
This delicious, crisp flatbread is incredibly versatile. While it is not necessarily considered a healing food, it is a fantastic delivery method for healing foods.
So often, you go to a friend’s house or a cocktail party, and while they offer a dip or spread that may be healthy, the only way to eat the healthy option is on very unhealthy crackers. Well, my crisp flatbread solves this problem. It is perfect to have out when guests come over or if you just want an afternoon snack.
If you are going out and need to bring an appetizer, crisp flatbread is perfect. The versatility of crisp flatbread is genuinely endless.
Recently, I made a batch of crisp flatbread and paired it with my spicy tomato salsa, which acted as a bruschetta. The crisp flatbread was the perfect delivery method for all of the incredible healing ingredients in the spicy tomato salsa…
Tomatoes
Tomatoes are such a powerful healing food. They contain their own variety of vitamin C that is bioavailable to the liver and lymphatic system. Tomatoes also support the immune system, helping it to remain strong to fight pathogens.
Tomatoes contain fruit acids that help rid sludge from the gallbladder and reduce the size of gallstones, helping to keep the gallbladder healthy. The mineral content in tomatoes is abundant, these can reach the deep inner core of the liver, helping to prevent disease where it commonly begins. Additionally, tomatoes are high in lycopene, which is a favorite nutrient of the liver. The liver uses lycopene to prevent cell damage and to help detox red blood cells safely.
“Tomatoes grow at night, under the moonlight, and the liver also responds to moonlight—when it’s a full moon, the liver tends to work harder at cleaning, filtering, and processing in the wee hours of the morning. When organic or heirloom tomatoes are in the diet, the full moon energy that they collected during their growing cycle works with the liver’s ability to cleanse.”

Cucumber
Cucumbers hydrate on a cellular level. Chronic dehydration affects virtually everybody. Cucumber juice is an incredible antidote for dehydration. Eaten daily, cucumbers can reverse liver damage. They are also a miracle for reducing bloating.
“Fresh cucumber juice is the best rejuvenation tonic in the world.”
-Anthony William, Healing Power Of Cucumbers Blog
Cucumbers are a fantastic tool for cooling down overused adrenal glands and struggling kidneys getting heated from toxic uric acid, as they contain a special electrolyte compound that nourishes and helps cool down the heat. This cooling effect also makes them perfect for reducing fevers. The juice from a cucumber is the best natural fever reducer.
Additionally, cucumbers contain traces of amino acids glycine and glutamine, highly active enzymes and coenzymes, as well as an abundance of trace minerals, which makes them perfect for the delivery of neurotransmitter chemicals. Bringing in daily cucumber juice is helpful for people who suffer from anxiety or other neurological conditions.
Onions
Onions contain sulfur compounds that strengthen the immune system, brain, and nervous system. These compounds also help to detoxify heavy metals from the body, such as mercury, cadmium, and lead.
Furthermore, onions are the highest food source of quercetin, a potent antioxidant that can help prevent blood clots, asthma, sinus infections, bronchitis, atherosclerosis, and diabetes.
Cilantro
Cilantro is an incredible herb! It helps to pull heavy metals and detoxify the liver. Being antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-worm, cilantro helps to suppress the level of pathogens in the body.
Additionally, cilantro can provide significant adrenal support and has been shown to help balance blood glucose levels and stave off weight gain, brain fog, and memory issues.
Raw Honey
Raw honey is very high in critical minerals such as calcium, potassium, zinc, selenium, phosphorus, chromium, molybdenum, and manganese. It is one of the most adaptogenic foods on the planet. In its raw form, honey is a powerful weapon against illness and infections.
Because bees collect from plant species all over, the fructose and glucose in raw honey contain over 200,000 undiscovered phytochemical compounds, including pathogen killers, phytochemicals that protect you from radiation damage, and anti-cancerous phytochemicals. Raw honey can actually stop cancer in its tracks. According to Medical Medium®, raw honey is one of the most powerful brain foods with its highly absorbable sugar and B12 coenzymes, and raw honey actually repairs DNA.
Honey is truly a medicinal gift to our planet.
