You will not believe this is a low fat, oil free hummus! The taste is out of this world
This Medical Medium friendly, vegan and gluten-free recipe is perfect for an after school snack paired with veggies, and makes a great appetizer when guests come over.
2.5 cups chickpeas (I use Jovial)
2 Tbsp raw tahini
2 limes juiced
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp coconut aminos
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp paprika powder
1 cup ice-cold water
Add all ingredients to the blender except the ice cold water. Then start the blend.
Add a tablespoon of ice cold water at a time, until the hummus becomes fluffy and creamy.
The cup of water is an estimate – depending on how moist your chickpeas are you may need less or more. Feel free to use discretion here.
