If you love ranch dressing, you have to try my vegan ranch dip.
I absolutely love dipping everything from fresh vegetables to potato chips into ranch dressing – it just adds that extra creamy herb flavor that enhances the food. Of course, the ranch dip you find in the grocery store or in the powder form to make at home is full of chemicals and toxins. So I knew I had to figure out a way to make this dip Medical Medium® friendly with all the flavor and creamy deliciousness of the original Hidden Valley Ranch.
My vegan ranch dip checks all the boxes, but the best part is the healing properties of the ingredients in this dip. You will no longer feel guilty dipping your veggies.
Lemons
Lemons are packed with vitamins such as vitamin C and B-complex, plus they have an abundance of minerals as well – iron, calcium, magnesium, silicon, copper, and potassium. Lemons can help cleanse and detoxify the entire body.
Lemons are an incredibly alkalizing food and can help alleviate flatulence, indigestions, and constipation by helping to destroy putrefactive bacteria in the mouth and intestines. Lemons also contain limonene which can be used to dissolve gallstones and kidney stones.
Due to an abundance of bioflavonoids, lemons boost the immune system and reduce inflammation in the body.
Onions
Onions contain sulfur compounds that strengthen the immune system, brain, and nervous system. These compounds also help to detoxify heavy metals from the body such as mercury, cadmium, and lead.
Furthermore, onions are the highest food source of quercetin, a potent antioxidant that can help prevent blood clots, asthma, sinus infections, bronchitis, atherosclerosis, and diabetes.
Parsley
Parsley is the most amazing alkalizing herb. It is alkalizing to all of the body systems. Parsley is the most powerful weapon for fighting acidosis.
“Parsley’s specialized mineral salts bind onto unproductive acids in the body to drive them out. This alkalizing skill makes parsley helpful for preventing and battling every type of cancer.”
-Anthony William, The Healing Power Of Parsley Blog
Packed full of nutrition such as B vitamins like folic acid, traces of B12 coenzymes, and vitamins A, C, and K, parsley fights all pathogens and keeps bacteria, parasites, and fungus at bay. Additionally, parsley helps to remineralize the body as it is packed with trace minerals such as magnesium, sulfur, iron, zinc, manganese, molybdenum, chromium, selenium, iodine, and calcium.
One of the most incredible properties of this miracle herb is its chelation effect. Parsley has the ability to pull stores of herbicides and pesticides such as DDT.
Growing parsley doesn’t require much tending – in fact, it’s practically a wild food and can handle colder weather, making it adaptogenic in nature.
Dill
Dill contains medicinal compounds such as flavonoids and monoterpenes that make it an incredible antioxidant and amazingly beneficial for viral, bacterial, yeast, and fungal infections, parasites, pain relief, sleep disorders, and respiratory disorders.
Dill has been known to aid in digestion and can help reduce bad breath, acid reflux, flatulence, indigestion, and diarrhea. It has also been known to help treat insomnia, headaches, and hiccups.
Because dill is an abundant source of calcium, magnesium, and iron, it is very good for the bones, blood, and organs. Dill also contains Eugenol, which is an essential oil that has been used therapeutically as a local anesthetic and antiseptic.
Dill seeds are also powerfully healing as they contain sedative, anti-spasmodic, and digestive properties. If you chew on a few dill seeds, it can help freshen your breath and improve digestion after a meal.
