Cashew Cheese is my kids’ FAVORITE sauce. All three of them love it in all of its forms. This is a Medical Medium friendly recipe I have been making for almost 15 years and in my family we love our dipping sauces!!!

Healing Properties of Cashews

Cashews are great for lowering blood pressure, supporting heart health, preventing gallstones, reducing migraines, providing energy boosts, strengthening bones, and promoting healthy skin and hair. Cashews have a lower fat content than most other nuts. They also support the nervous system. So bringing in this recipe in the form of cashew cheese is not only just dairy free, but also provides numerous health benefits! If you are remaining low fat or fat free, I would definitely go easy on this sauce because it is easy to over do! This is especially applicable to those who are working on healing their livers!

Servings 6 servings

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 Cups cashews soaked for 20 min
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Raw honey
  • ¾ Cup filtered water
  • 1 tsp herbes de Provence
  • ½ tsp veggie pepper
  • sea salt to taste
servings

Instructions
 

  • Put all the ingredients into a blender cup and mix on high speed. 
  • If you need to thin out the cheese a bit more, add a little more water

Variations with this sauce that are amazing (add one variation at a time):

  • Red bell pepper
  • Parsley
  • Cilantro
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions

This sauce completely changes flavor with any of the above additions. I hope you try it and fall in love with this incredible recipe over and over! Even if you are committed to low or no fat your family will definitely love this recipe! Also remember that cashews are a low fat nut.

This is an essential topping for my famous Jackfruit Mushroom Taco Meat recipe! We also use this recipe as the cheese on our pizza, pasta, lasagna and much much more!
