I always get a little nervous around the holidays. A vegan holiday can bring anxiousness to any host.
My family loves to host friends, family, and neighbors for meals around the holidays, but not everyone is accustomed to vegan meals, especially around the holidays where butter, cream, meat, and eggs dominate so many holiday tables.
“The Most Delicious Vegan Holiday I’ve Ever Had”
I’ll never forget one of the first vegan holiday meals I prepared. Our friends were coming over with their small children when my girls were little, and they were health-conscious but not vegan. I was so nervous they would be disappointed with the meal we were preparing for them. I knew the food was delicious, but I’m used to eating this way!
When my friend turned to me and said, “This is the most delicious holiday meal I’ve ever had,” my jaw dropped.
I was so excited! My friend said that although she had several different dishes in the same meal, she didn’t feel the typical heaviness or bloating sensation that typically comes with large meals at other holiday gatherings. She eagerly asked me for several recipes we had prepared that year, so excited that someone else wanted to prepare our recipes!
I’ve included several of those recipes in this blog, and I hope that you and your family will enjoy them as much as we do.
