I have worked with countless clients who name chronic anxiety one of their most persistent symptoms. Anxiety can be debilitating, leading to losing the ability to work, socialize, attend school, and generally thrive.
One of the most difficult aspects for anxiety sufferers is the fact that their condition is “invisible.” In other words, no test can prove it’s real.
For this reason, many who experience anxiety are treated as though their condition is not real – that it’s all in their heads or that they have the ability to shut it off if they just overcome the problem.
Gaslighting and blame are common for people with anxiety, especially young people who are labeled as “too sensitive” or “overly emotional.”
But anyone who’s experienced a panic attack will tell you that control is not an option and that “shutting it off” is exactly what they’d like to do but can’t.

THE ANATOMY OF ANXIETY
Everyone’s anxiety is different because we each have a different combination of toxins and pathogens in our bodies.
Yes, anxiety’s true cause is a combination of toxins and pathogens.
Anxiety that doesn’t subside after a stressful circumstance is a physical condition, not an emotional disorder.
Emotional stress can trigger anxiety in the body, but it is not a cause. Stress will not prolong anxiety over days, months, or years.
Neurotoxins are the true culprit behind anxiety.

THE SMOKING GUN
There are common toxic exposures that many of us encounter on a daily basis that are harmful to our nervous system and therefore labeled as neurotoxins.
These include:
- Toxic heavy metals
- Toxic chemicals (plug-in air fresheners, perfumes, colognes, scented candles, household cleaning products, carpet cleaning chemicals, and more)
- Radiation
- Viral neurotoxins
These are the invaders in our system which injure our nervous system to the point of causing chronic anxiety.
Sometimes these toxins wreak havoc for a season, sometimes for multiple years. Each of our bodies is different with varying levels of exposure to these toxins.
Toxic heavy metals may reside in our brain, weakening nerves and neurotransmitters. Toxic chemicals are increasingly in the air around us. Radiation from wireless internet, smartphones, and plane travel builds on itself, weakening the nerves over time.
And then there are viral toxins.
A SECRET INVADER
Anxiety can be caused by toxic substances like those mentioned above without any viral activity, but it’s usually those toxins combined with a virus in the body.
Viruses like the Epstein-Barr Virus and the shingles virus feed on toxins in our body and produce neurotoxic waste which leads to greater levels of anxiety.
Almost every human being alive at this time has at least one virus present in their system, whether active or dormant.
