Maple-Drenched apricots! This is a recipe you MUST try before the apricot season leaves us this year.

Healing Benefits Of Apricots

Apricots have incredible healing benefits.  Often overlooked in the grocery store, the powerful apricot is loaded with beta-carotene.  This high concentration of beta-carotene makes apricots an excellent food for disease prevention, particularly lung, skin, and stomach illness.

Equally important, apricots are one of the best sources of organic iron and cobalt which makes them beneficial for anemia, digestive disorders, and reproductive health.  Additionally, apricots are a powerful tool for fighting autoimmune diseases such as chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, asthma, lupus, colitis, IBS, and PCOS.

Furthermore, apricots are very helpful for weight loss and keep the heart healthy and strong.  They boost red blood cells and can have the effect of bringing you “back to life.”

Packed with so many healing benefits, all you need is one apricot a day to reap the rewards of this fruit.  However, since it is currently apricot season you should take advantage and eat as many as you want.  If you are dealing with a chronic condition, try to eat four apricots daily.

The recipe below for maple-drenched apricots is so delicious, that you can’t help but eat at least four!
