Delicious and Easy Cranberry Orange Sauce

Delicious and Easy Cranberry Orange Sauce

This cranberry orange sauce is one of my favorite Thanksgiving holiday condiments! I have never loved plain cranberry sauce, I always needed mine to have deeper flavor. When I added orange juice to the recipe I found the perfect flavor accompaniment. It is also incredibly simple to make which is one of my favorite aspects of this recipe.

My cranberry orange sauce is loaded with healing ingredients. Let me tell you a little about them.

Cranberries

Cranberries play a huge role in helping recovery from UTIs and have an amazing ability to fight streptococcus bacteria in the body. They are great for reversing gallbladder illness and for dissolving gallstones. And they hold their medicinal power even when cooked! They are one of the most power liver cleansers and it is amazing that cranberries make their way onto fat-laden Thanksgiving tables, because they are really needed there. In this cranberry sauce, the tartness of the cranberries is softened by the orange juice and zest.

Oranges

When most of us think of oranges we think of Vitamin C. However, according to author Anthony William, oranges are full of glutathione as well. This is another incredible nutrient for the liver, and another reason I love that cranberries and oranges pair so well together. Together, they provide a liver powerhouse. And to think that most people just ignore or disregard the power that the cranberry sauce holds at a fancy dinner party! This side dish will do more for their health than all the other dishes combined. If you would like to learn more about the healing power of foods, grab Anthony William’s Expanded Life Changing Foods Book here.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is excellent for digestion and will help diarrhea, vomiting, indigestion, and autoimmune disorders like fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It helps with dental health, can be used as a disinfectant, and can stop yeast infections and menstrual cramps. We should all be using this spice more often… it is a tiny powerhouse!

My Passion for Healing Recipes

I have a passion for creating recipes that help us to heal and pack huge flavor, so that we’re not sacrificing health for taste. Chronic illness is rising at rapid rates, not just in the USA but all over the world. It is imperative that we educate ourselves about the power of foods to heal our symptoms and conditions and take each meal as an opportunity to do this.

I love that humans celebrate so many traditions and holidays with food. It is such a beautiful way to celebrate and connects us with the earth. It is unfortunate though that most of our celebratory foods are so inflammatory to our health. This is why it is so important to learn about the hidden power of simple ingredients like cranberries, oranges and cinnamon that are used in this cranberry orange sauce recipe (have you checke out the latest Medical Medium book yet? Read all about the power of these healing foods in Anthony’s new book, Life-Changing Foods Expanded Edition).

I hope you explore the blog and find other healing recipes to fill your tables. Try my Artichoke Spinach Dip or my Chestnut Soup for more comforting fall and winter recipes. Or if you are interested in what I am personally cooking for Thanksgiving this year, check out my Thanksgiving menu for 2025. Do share these recipes with friends and family and hopefully they will learn about the healing powers of foods as well.

Jump into the comments and share about what you are planning for your Thanksgiving or holiday table. It is so inspiring for me to read what you are all cooking. Together my hope is that we inspire each other to including more healing foods in our meals and revolutionizing how we can heal.

To your happiness and well-being,

Muneeza
