BONE BUILDING ICE TEA– recipe by Dani Brenneis
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons of dried nettle leaf
2 teaspoons of dried horsetail
2 teaspoons of dries oatsraw
3 cups of boiling water
Allow it to steep for at least 15 minutes or more. Let it cool down and put it in the fridge for a few hours. Add fresh cucumber slices and ice cubes that you made beforehand. The ice cubes are made of freshly squeezed lime juice cucumber slices. Sweeten with as much raw honey as you desire
To energize the elixir and to make it more hydrating, I added fresh cucumber slices and homemade ice cubes made with fresh lime juice and sliced cucumbers. Cucumbers don’t only have a cooling effect which makes them perfect for this summer drink, they’re also very rich in silica. The calcium in citrus also keeps bones and teeth strong.
Depending on how sweet you like your ice tea, you can add as much raw honey as you desire. It doesn’t only taste amazing, but also adds incredible healing benefits.
