If you are a wing lover, you will love these vegan & gluten-free spicy BBQ cauliflower wings. When my husband agreed to join me in this Medical Medium® lifestyle, it was under the condition that we would still be able to have delicious, flavor-filled meals and not feel like we were missing out. With that in mind, I knew I had to find a replacement for hot wings, and thus this recipe was born.
Not only is this recipe vegan and gluten-free, but it is also packed with incredible healing foods.
Cauliflower
Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable. It is great for the immune system, is high in some key trace minerals, and contains anti-tumor compounds. In addition, it is one of the few foods that is high in Di-Indolyl-methan (DIM), which is important for endocrine balance and support. Finally, it is important for gut health (fights H. Pylori), and it a very healing food for the liver.
All of these incredible benefits help make cauliflower wings a powerful healing food.
Tomatoes
Tomatoes are such a powerful healing food and play an integral part in the flavor of these spicy BBQ cauliflower wings. They contain their own variety of vitamin C that is bioavailable to the liver and lymphatic system. Tomatoes also support the immune system, helping it to remain strong to fight pathogens.
Tomatoes contain fruit acids that help rid sludge from the gallbladder and reduce the size of gallstones, helping to keep the gallbladder healthy.
The mineral content in tomatoes is abundant, these can reach the deep inner core of the liver, helping to prevent disease where it commonly begins. Additionally, tomatoes are high in lycopene which is a favorite nutrient of the liver. The liver uses lycopene to prevent cell damage, and to help detox red blood cell safely.
“Tomatoes grow at night, under the moonlight, and the liver also responds to moonlight—when it’s a full moon, the liver tends to work harder at cleaning, filtering, and processing in the wee hours of the morning. When organic or heirloom tomatoes are in the diet, the full moon energy that they collected during their growing cycle works with the liver’s ability to cleanse.”

Dates
Dates are great at improving your energy and brain function. They are packed with nutrients such as vitamin A & B-complex, as well as minerals such as iron, calcium, manganese, copper, and potassium.
Dates have been used by athletes for thousands of years to help build bone and muscle strength while also improving physical endurance.
Because dates contain anti-inflammatory and anti-infective properties, they are a wonderful food choice for anybody suffering from chronic infections and auto-immune disorders. Additionally, dates help protect against strokes and coronary heart disease as they help to control heart rate and blood pressure.
Dates are an easy snack to bring with you on-the-go.
Having dates in this cauliflower wing recipe adds the ideal amount of sweetness to help bring out the spice.
