Spicy Tomato Salsa is such a versatile topping for so many dishes, including pizzas and tacos. It also works amazing as a dip with Siete corn and grain free tortilla chips.
Healing Properties of Tomatoes, Hot Peppers, Onions
Tomatoes are high in lycopene, a phytochemical that the liver loves. They help to rid the gallbladder of sludge and even reduce gallstone size. Even poorly grown tomatoes have a high mineral content. Tomatoes have a special vitamin C that forms as the moonlight shines on them.
Hot peppers are also really opening for the liver and do produce heat for the liver, but in a way that helps the liver to detox further.
Onions are highly antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. They are high in sulfur and as such great for killing off unproductive bacteria in the stomach like strep. They also help to heal the neurological system and are excellent for respiratory issues as well.
