Snacking Sev

- 1 cup besan or garbanzo bean flour
- 3 Tbsp coconut milk
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ⅛ tsp asafoetida
- ¼ tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp ajwain powder
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients until it forms a dough.
- Add the water to the dough little by little, and feel free to add a little more water if the dough is too dry. Make sure your dough is not too wet, though.
- Once the dough is formed, you can form it into long strips and bake for 20 minutes at 400 F.
- Once baked, you can break the strips up to sprinkle on top of Chaat or on top of a salad. Also great for snacking!
Typically sev is deep fried. Here is a super clean and healthy baked version – snacking sev. You can snack on this as it is, or you can use it as a topping on chaat.
