I made this and used it in a potato wrap and it is so yummy! I didn’t have any curry leaves but was still so good!
So glad you enjoyed the recipe and great idea to turn it into a wrap!
Oops, forgot to ask: The photo includes cauliflower. If I add cauliflower, how much would you recommend?
The recipe doesn’t call for cauliflower (I think the photo just has some small potato bits!) but if you’d like to add I would use about half of a medium-sized head of cauliflower. Definitely wouldn’t hurt the dish!
I can’t wait to try this. Thank you for this and all your fabulous recipes! Should the potatoes be steamed first, or added to the pot raw?
Add raw and cook in the pot, Mary! If you’re short on time you can steam them first and then just stir them in without the necessary cook time. Enjoy! – Muneeza
Hi, simple question but do you have to boil the potatoes before adding them to frying pan?
Calum it is best to steam them.
The recipe looked lovely and I just made it and its a bit bland, tasteless, maybe the mustard seeds? I used black mustard seeds?
what else could go wrong? 🙁
Sounds delicious!
Thanks!
I’m making this next week! Yum!
LMK how it turns out!!!
Just made this for my lunch…it’s cooling down in the fridge.
Have you have any recipes for beautiful tomatoes?…it’s summer here in Australia so I’m growing my own tomatoes.
Thanks
Yes, I have a tomato herb dressing recipe coming up.
