For the artichokes:
6
large organic artichokes or 10 small mini artichokes
2
organic lemons, rind
3
organic lemons, cut
For the sauce:
2
organic limes, juiced
1
large organic orange, juiced
1
tbsp
raw honey

Instructions
For the artichokes:
Place the artichokes in a pan with the lemon rind and cut lemons.
Steam for about 15–20 minutes, stirring gently, until tender.
For the sauce:
Add lime juice, orange juice, honey, Total Immune Blend, and garlic powder to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
To finish:
Once the artichokes are ready, peel the leaves, dip into the sauce, and enjoy.
Notes
The lemon does double duty here, it flavors the artichokes and helps keep them from browning while they cook.
Add the Total Immune Blend to the sauce after cooking, never into anything hot. This helps preserve the healing properties of the tincture.
How to now when the artichokes are ready:
Gently grab one of the
outer leaves
near the middle of the artichoke.
If it
pulls away easily with just a gentle tug
, the artichoke is done.
If you have to really pull or the leaf tears instead of coming out, it needs more time.
Add more cooking time for large globe artichokes.
