All of our recipes are egg-free. This presents a challenge when you need a binder in a recipe that typically calls for an egg. Enter, the Flax Egg. It works perfectly as an egg replacer in so many recipes, so I decided that we need to add this to our blog.

Instructions
Mix together and let it rest until slightly congealed, about 10-15 minutes.
Use like you would a normal egg in baking or cooking.
Notes
This makes the equivalent of one egg. You can multiply the ingredients by the number of eggs the recipe calls for. Say your recipe calls for two eggs, you would double the ingredients. These don't keep well, so make flax eggs fresh when you need them.
