Instructions
First, steam the potatoes and peas in a steaming basket over a pot of boiling water. Alternatively, you can steam in the Cuisinart glass steamer that I love and use every day in my kitchen! No more burned stove pots because I forgot to turn the heat off the stove after the water had all evaporated!
Then place all the other ingredients in a stockpot and bring to a gentle boil.
Turn heat down to low and allow to simmer for about an hour.
Strain and sip for a mineral-rich, healing, and restorative broth.
Add steamed peas or steamed potato chunks to the broth and enjoy.
Or leave the veggies in and add steamed potatoes to enjoy as a light healing soup.
